Colonia: citrus and aromatic notes
Acqua di Parma describes original Colonia as an Eau de Cologne, with lemon, sweet orange and Calabrian bergamot; lavender, rose, verbena and rosemary; and vetiver, sandalwood and patchouli.
Consider sampling it if a citrus-and-herbal direction interests you. Its concentration label is important for matching the product, but it does not tell us how long it will last on your skin or prove that it projects less than the other fragrances in this list.

Bleu de Chanel EDT: citrus and woods
Chanel’s Eau de Toilette page describes an aromatic-woody composition with citrus, cedar and New Caledonian sandalwood. Use those notes to decide whether it belongs in your sample selection.
The description does not prove that this is a restrained office fragrance. A fragrance-free workplace still takes precedence, and colleagues’ preferences cannot be inferred from a brand’s marketing.

Dylan Blue Pour Homme EDT: aquatic notes and spice
Versace’s Dylan Blue Pour Homme EDT lists aquatic notes, bergamot and grapefruit, with pepper, woods and musky notes. That gives you a composition to compare with Colonia’s more explicitly herbal note list.
It does not establish that Dylan Blue survives humidity better, lasts longer or costs less than every other option here. Make a price comparison using the same bottle size and the delivered total, rather than assuming a brand occupies a fixed budget tier.

Sauvage EDT: bergamot and pepper
Dior’s Sauvage EDT description centres on Calabrian bergamot, pepper and an ambery-woody direction. Sample it if you want to compare that combination with the aquatic or herbal descriptions above.

Test the decision in your own routine
Try one sample at a time according to its label, in settings where fragrance is permitted. Note whether you like the opening and the later scent, rather than judging only the first spray. Your own observations can inform your purchase without becoming a universal performance claim.
