Start with the scent direction you want to sample: Sauvage EDT for bergamot and pepper, Club de Nuit Intense Man EDT for citrus and birch, Eros EDT for mint and vanilla, Profondo EDP for marine and aromatic notes, or Jazz Club EDT for rum and tobacco notes. These are five different compositions, not five proven winners for particular occasions.

This comparison uses brand descriptions and product identities checked on 11 September 2026. We have not worn these fragrances side by side, measured projection or established which lasts longest. Notes help narrow a sample order; they cannot tell you how much you will enjoy the result.

Compare the exact versions

Fragrance Published scent direction Check before buying
Dior Sauvage EDT Bergamot, pepper and an ambery-woody direction EDT, rather than EDP, Parfum or Elixir
Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man EDT Citrus and fruit, birch, jasmine and a musky woody base Intense Man EDT; other concentrations are separate choices
Versace Eros EDT Mint, lemon, apple, vanilla and woods Original EDT, rather than Eros EDP or Flame
Acqua di Gio Profondo EDP Marine notes, aromatic herbs, patchouli and musk Profondo Eau de Parfum, not another Acqua di Gio version
Replica Jazz Club EDT Rum, tobacco leaf, pink pepper and vanilla Jazz Club personal fragrance, not a candle or diffuser

Concentration names do not reliably rank performance across unrelated formulas. Compare versions within a fragrance line, then sample the exact one you intend to buy. Our fragrance concentration guide explains the labels.

Dior Sauvage EDT: bergamot and pepper

Dior’s Sauvage EDT page describes Calabrian bergamot, pepper and an ambery-woody direction. Consider a sample if that combination sounds appealing. It does not establish that Sauvage is the most versatile bottle, suitable for every workplace or likely to attract compliments.

The linked Amazon listing for Sauvage EDT, 3.4 oz matched that product identity when checked. Confirm the selected size, seller, condition and return terms at checkout; product identity verification is not a guarantee about every marketplace seller.

Club de Nuit Intense Man EDT: citrus, fruit and birch

Armaf’s EDT description lists lemon, bergamot, apple, pineapple and blackcurrant, followed by birch, rose and jasmine, with musk, ambergris, patchouli and vanilla in the base. This offers a different sample direction from Eros’s mint-and-vanilla description.

The Amazon listing for the 3.6 oz EDT matched the product identity when checked. We have not established a current, like-for-like price advantage over every designer bottle here. Compare delivered prices for the exact size before calling it the budget option.

Versace Eros EDT: mint, apple and vanilla

Versace describes original Eros EDT using mint, lemon and green apple alongside vanilla and woods. Put it on a sample shortlist if those notes interest you; “sweet” does not by itself prove a scent will be loud or unsuitable for daytime.

Use the official product page to match the concentration and bottle. An existing Amazon offer could not be freshly verified for this review, so it is not presented here as a current buying option. There is no need to substitute a similarly named flanker just to complete a purchase.

Acqua di Gio Profondo EDP: marine and aromatic

Armani’s current Profondo EDP page describes marine notes with cypress, lavender, rosemary, patchouli and musk. Check the Profondo product description itself: the page also displays other Acqua di Gio fragrances, whose notes should not be transferred to this one.

This is an alternative for someone interested in an aromatic marine composition. We have not verified an all-day wear time or a heat-performance advantage. Select the bottle size before comparing prices; a refill is not a complete spray bottle.

Replica Jazz Club EDT: rum and tobacco notes

Maison Margiela’s Jazz Club EDT describes rum, tobacco leaf, pink pepper and vanilla. These are fragrance descriptors, not a claim that wearing it recreates a particular venue or experience.

Sample it if those notes are appealing. A warm-sounding description does not make a fragrance unusable in summer, and it does not establish superior evening performance. Your preference and the fragrance rules of the setting matter more than assigning each bottle a fixed occasion.

Make the purchase smaller than the uncertainty

Choose one or two sample directions rather than buying all five. Try the exact concentration according to its directions, allow time beyond the opening, and decide whether you still want to wear it. Check fragrance-free rules before using any fragrance in shared spaces.

Compare the total delivered cost, volume and seller terms only after choosing the scent. We have not ranked these by current price, lasting power or compliments; those would require evidence beyond the product descriptions used here.
