For inexpensive perfume touch-ups, first check whether you already own a scent you want to carry. Buying a second designer bottle is not automatically a budget solution. A smaller version, a suitable refillable atomizer, or simply leaving the extra application out may fit your routine better.

If you want a new floral spray, Demeter Lilac’s 1 oz cologne spray provides a lower listed-price example than the designer bottles below. Its availability needs checking. The comparison below is about bottle size and purchase cost, not a tested ranking of which perfume is safest for an office or best after lunch.

Three price and size examples

Exact product Price band (manufacturer listing checked 11 September 2026) What it demonstrates
Demeter Lilac Cologne Spray, 1 oz $25 to $30 A smaller floral spray at a lower entry price; the page also carries a backorder notice
Burberry Her EDT, 30 ml $90 to $100 A smaller designer bottle can still be expensive
Marc Jacobs Daisy EDT, 50 ml $100 to $125 A familiar floral name does not establish budget pricing or pocket-sized packaging

Prices exclude tax and delivery. Bottle volume is not a measurement of the bottle’s dimensions, weight, leak resistance or number of sprays. We have not tested these products for carrying in a bag.

Demeter Lilac: a lower-priced floral example

Demeter lists Lilac Cologne Spray at $25 to $30 for the selected 1 oz bottle and describes a lilac-flower scent. Consider it if that specific floral direction appeals, rather than expecting it to be a neutral top-up for every perfume.

The page also displays a backorder notice. Confirm whether your selected bottle can ship before relying on it for an upcoming trip. We have no measured evidence for its wear duration or an ideal reapplication interval.

Search Amazon for Demeter Lilac Cologne Spray 1 oz . Match the spray format; a perfume oil roll-on is a different application method.

Burberry Her EDT: small does not mean low-cost

Burberry’s 30 ml Her Eau de Toilette is listed at $90 to $100. The brand describes a fruity/floral composition with green pear, peony and other notes. This is the EDT, not Her Eau de Parfum or another Her edition.

It may be relevant if you already know you enjoy that exact scent and specifically want the smaller bottle. The price does not make it a general budget or best-value choice. Compare a current offer with your actual spending limit.

Search Amazon for Burberry Her EDT 30 ml . Verify the size and concentration in the selected variant.

Marc Jacobs Daisy EDT: check the package, not the occasion label

The Marc Jacobs fragrance catalogue lists Daisy Eau de Toilette 50 ml in the $100 to $125 range. That is an identifiable product and price, but it does not show that the bottle fits your bag or is the best option for repeated workday application.

Our earlier guide described Daisy as reliably unobtrusive and office-safe without supporting wear observations. We have withdrawn that claim. If you already wear Daisy EDT, compare the exact available sizes and packaging before buying an additional bottle.

Search Amazon for Marc Jacobs Daisy EDT 50 ml . Daisy Wild, Daisy Love and other editions should not be treated as the same fragrance.

When a refillable atomizer is the more useful purchase

If the aim is to carry perfume you already own, check an atomizer’s filling method against your existing bottle. Some designs depend on a removable spray head and a compatible valve; others use a different transfer method. Do not assume every perfume bottle can be opened or refilled.

Check capacity, closure and the manufacturer’s filling instructions. Label the contents so that you do not confuse concentrations or fragrances later. We have not tested an atomizer for leak resistance in this guide and do not name a universal compatibility winner.

An illustrative comparison shows why the format matters: spending $15 on a compatible accessory can require less new spending than buying a bottle in the $90 to $100 range. That $15 is an example, not a verified offer, and any transferred perfume still has a cost. If the accessory is incompatible or leaks, the apparent saving is lost.

Reapplication should follow your situation

There is no fixed rule that EDT always needs frequent spraying while EDP needs only one or two touch-ups. The specific fragrance, application and your own preference matter. This review did not measure their performance.

Follow the product’s directions and any fragrance-free rules in shared spaces. Do not treat another person’s inability to smell your perfume, or your own impression after wearing it for hours, as a precise measurement of what everyone nearby experiences.

Store and carry the product according to its label. The previous guide casually recommended glove-box storage without checking temperature or storage instructions; that recommendation has been removed.

What this comparison does not rank

Perfumes are not ranked here by polish, budget value or social suitability, because adequate evidence for such rankings is not available.

Use the dated size-and-price examples to decide what you can afford and what you actually want to carry. If you are still choosing a scent, the fragrance sample-set comparison covers trying several perfumes before committing to a larger bottle.
